We do not accept returns as we don’t believe from a sustainability stand point that sending such a small product back and forth to be healthy for our environment. However, if you do find a manufacturing error with your product and you’re unable to use it please take a photo and send into returns@gmelondon.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We will asses the issue and will be more than happy to send you a replacement or issue a refund should there be a manufacturing error.

No… and that’s a good thing! The material from which our product is created, has been certified to be biodegradable, that doesn’t mean it can be recycled. Here’s why: Recycling - by definition it is “the action or process of converting waste into reusable material ” The G’ME host packaging was created from a material that was not to be reused , it was to decompose and go back to feeding the earth with goodness. Our bioplastic packaging is created by a good soil bacteria that is essentially fed oils from seeds such as canola and soy plants then mixed together in a controlled environment , separated & dried and then giving us our PHA which we then go on to mix with natural inks and dyes to create this funky product. All of which is 100% renewable & sustainable.

Most generic recycling systems sadly aren’t yet set up to process this innovative material despite it having a more positive sustainable , moral and ethical impact on our planet.

So for now, pop your balm in your general waste bin but rest assured it will be decomposing back into natural healthy bacteria for the planet and leaving no micro plastics or bad stuff behind.

When our packaging is shaped like a straw it is certified marine biodegradable and home compostable. However, we needed a little extra thickness and change of shape to bring you the G’ME Balm you deserved, that means it takes a little longer to break down back to its natural beginnings. Think of a stick and a tree trunk, made of the same thing just one takes a little longer to go away than the other, but both are a pleasure for our planet.

Hell yes! We’re committed to being cruelty free: this means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards.

Allergies vary from person to person and unfortunately we are not able to confirm "nut allergy free" for everybody because each individual could be allergic to a different kind of nut. We do however include a full list of ingredients with every product, both on the website and on the product packaging. We suggest you check these to make sure our products don't have something in that you're allergic to.

If you do have a nut allergy - we always recommend you speak to your GP to see if our products may be suitable and then patch test first. A small amount should be applied close to where you want to apply the product (such as behind the ear). If you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours then you should immediately and thoroughly wash the test area and not use that product.
